Hi, I'm Matt Posner, a multi-genre independent author from Queens, New York. I'm also a city high school teacher. (If you're my student, get off this site!) My current work is the Mrs. Moore series, urban fantasy novels for adults with a strong female protagonist. I have also written YA fantasy novels, literary/sports fiction, nonfiction, and, under the pseudonym MJ Post, new adult romance along with my writing partner and author bestie Mysti Parker.
I became an independent author in 2011 during the Kindle Revolution. It's been a tough journey with some gap years. My greatest challenge is marketing and visibility.
